The Lordship of Nanteuil ( (フランス語:Seigneurie de Nanteuil-le-Haudouin)) was a French fief located in Nanteuil-le-Haudouin in Picardy.〔(Medieval lands )〕 While the Ban Lordship of Nanteuil-la-Fosse was a feudal of the Kingdom of France in the county of Champagne.〔(Medieval lands )〕〔The historian and genealogist of the seventeenth century André du Chesne, in the ''Histoire de la Maison de Chastillon sur Marne'', pubblished in Paris, in 1621, treating the family branch Nanteuil La Fosse, warns the reader to not confuse the dynasty of Nanteuil La Fosse with other referring to the numerous and equal place names scattered throughout France〕 The two lordship should not be confused although both converge in the same family.
